The Special Counsel doesn’t ever take the position that Misfud was a Russian Agent in PapaD’s plea deal. They even make the statement that Misfud only took an INTEREST in PapaD AFTER learning he joined the Campaign. To me that seems like the SC is making the case for Spygate.
When Horowitz lays out his Report the Timeline of events that took place during this investigation will be Extremely Important. While it may not seem like PapaD’s misstatement about the date he first met Misfud is a big deal, it’s actually a Huge deal in the overall timeline.
