There it is.

University of Arizona police are charging two UA students with misdemeanors for protesting Custom and Border Patrol agents during an on campus presentation. I can’t stress enough what a big deal this is. azcentral.com/story/news/loc…
For a while now, I’ve been looking for a clear and unambiguous instance in which a state with a Goldwater-style campus free speech law punished disruptive students for constitutionally protected speech. There have been a lot of candidates, but none this clear.
Here’s what the UA President has to say: “The student club and the CBP officers invited by the students should have been able to hold their meeting without disruption. Student protest is protected by our support for free speech, but disruption is not."
That’s all there is to it. That’s where we are now. You can speak but not disrupt, and believe me: disruption will include so much more than you think it should. Think I’m over-reacting? If it helps, imagine that the person making that call is a crazy SJW like me.
This is depressing.
America is a silly country.
Oh my god it gets sillier. Last week, Judicial Watch filed a complaint with the university over the actions of Denisse Mureno-Melchor, the student who started the protest and followed the agents to their car while chanting “Murder Patrol”.

Judicial Watch says Mureno-Melchor violates the Student Code of Conduct in the following respects:
Did you see that? Fabrication. Stalking. Unauthorized presence.

Here’s the video Mureno-Melchor took, by the way. You tell me when the stalking or unauthorized presence (on a public campus!) happens. As for fabrication...gtfo.

On the one hand, this is high quality lib-trolling by Judicial Watch and I salute their moxie. On the other hand, they are clearly evil.
A good statement from FIRE on this. Has @adamsteinbaugh ‘s finger prints all over it!
