One of our most eminent legal minds says Prorogue Parliament in order to get No Deal next week...

One part of his argument is highly suspect “the vast majority of MPs were elected on manifestos promising departure from the EU on terms that are compatible with No Deal”...
1. Labour manifesto -261 seats. Nope. “We will reject no deal”.
2. SNP manifesto / nope: 35 seats...
3. Libdem manifesto - Nope, obviously. 12 seats
4. Plaid - 4 seats - nope.
5. Greens, Independent Lady Hermon, Sinn Fein manifestos - no acceptance of No Deal - 9 elected MPs (obvs 7 SF did not take seats)
6...already up to 321 MPs elected on manifestos in GE2017 either ruling out explicitly or backing soft/ 2nd ref options. 314 excluding SF....

other side of ledger - Conservative - 317 MPs elected on manifesto saying “we continue to believe that No Deal is better than a bad deal”
7. So we are left with the DUP’s 10 MPs - pro No Deal manifesto, right?

Well not mentioned or implied. Lots of references to “make sure NI gets the Brexit Deal” - the DUP’s 30 points on Brexit seem difficult to square with No Deal too. Is this below really a mandate for ND👇🏾
