TPM Session 4 summary dump begins here.

We open in a hallway in Senator Farr's compound on Rodia with a mysterious hooded figure approaching: "You must be the Jedi..."
Maul strikes Qui-Gon before anyone can react and BOY, he rolls a lot of dice on lightsaber attacks. Things immediately begin feeling deadly (perfect). We go into initiative, the Jedi engaged with Maul, Panaka, Sabé, and the guards forming around Padmé and Farr's terrified aide.
There's a lot of lightsaber attacks and a lot of Parry. That first strike on Qui-Gon and Maul's beginning-of-round attack on Obi both crit. Obi attacks first; both he and Qui-Gon come at Maul with sabers. Sabé shoots down a drapery and it falls on Maul; his saber goes skittering.
Panaka and Sabé both crit Maul. Halfway through the second round of combat, Maul just disappears into the shadows of the hallway.

The characters beat a hasty retreat towards the Jedi ship.
Suddenly, the lights all go out. The group tries to keep going through the dark by the glow of lightsabers, Qui-Gon leading the way, Obi-Wan and Sabé at the back of the group, the Queen sheltered in the middle of the group. There's a sound, and Obi and Sabé have no time to react.
A figure leaps from the shadows and grabs Sabé. The smallest reflection shows that Maul has his unlit saber pressed to Sabé's back.
M: Go ahead, cut me down, see what happens to her.
Obi-Wan: Is this what warriors of your kind do, hide behind hostages?
M: Is this what Jedi like you do? Fail to protect the ones you care about?
Anyway, Obi-Wan fails to protect Sabé, and Maul disappears with her into the shadows. The Jedi catch up with the rest of the party and they reach the ship and regroup there.

Qui-Gon approaches Panaka for medical attention; Eirtaé is drafted to patch up the Jedi.
Somewhere in this convo, Qui-Gon mentions Sabé and Panaka and Padmé realize she's gone.

Padmé: Where is she?
Qui-Gon: Ah. This is awkward.
Panaka and Padmé react in roughly the same way to Sabé's capture: inside, they are shaken and emotional; outwardly, they have duties to attend to and must remain professional. Panaka busies himself, Padmé betrays her emotion only with clenched fists.
The guards and Panaka get the ship ready for takeoff while Eirtaé finishes with the Jedi. Padmé gathers herself and gives a speech - something about this fight is not over, but thank you for your service and (to the Jedi) your aid. (Obi-Wan recovers strain).
The Jedi announce that they're going to try to rescue Sabé. Panaka and Padmé are startled by this. As they leave, Padmé stops them:

"Bring her back to me."
Business somewhere in here: a flipped light side point gives us footage of Maul on R2D2, who is still with us. We discuss the fact that we have actually some concrete proof and we still have Sly Mee, the Jedi's Neimoidian hostage, which might help us if we reach the Senate.
Closing scene: we see Maul's ship take off. Inside the ship, Sabé is chained. Maul is stabs a stimpack into his neck and goes to the controls and begins flicking switches.
M: So. How does it feel?
S: What?
M: How does it feel to know you're going home?
S: I would rather see hell than go home with you.
M: Oh. [menacing lean] That can absolutely be arranged if you wish.
SOMETHING I FORGOT TO ADD: Throughout this game, Obi-Wan's been feeling cold in the Force (which has been described as eddies of warmth and cold in this game). At a certain point, a despair makes him unable to feel his connection to Qui-Gon.

The Dark side is reaching out to him.
