He says "social norms are changing." He says personal space is now "more important than it's ever been."
This isn't true. It was ALWAYS important to the people who felt uncomfortable.
Same in other areas. 15 years ago, it was normal to call someone a "faggot." It was acceptable to the majority. But it was hurtful and threatening to a silent minority. It was *always* wrong, even if socially acceptable.
A powerful man invading a woman's space is not homophobia or slavery. But it's always been wrong. That alone makes it worthy of an apology. And I don't think that's a huge ask.
Never lose sight of the fact an actual sexual predator resides in the White House and should be removed at the first opportunity.
