Ponder how many times we are told that what Trump clearly said he did not.
Now consider that there is no free press, everything that says anything contrary to todays party line has been shuttered as 'enemy of the people'.

Just think about 1984, and the memory hole, where any/everything that was deemed anti-party, not good for bb, for the leader was redefined. The contortions of logic, history, and reality were no barrier to the effort, the prime directive, Make Sure the Leader Does Not Look Bad.
And to exacerbate the ponder: Have you ever heard Trump explain, not just bellow or accuse, but actually explain what Fake News actually is? Something more than a solipsistic reference to exposures or facts he does not like, or want to be public?
Then you can ponder if you have ever heard Trump actually explain anything in a cogent, logical way that would take the form of an argument. Again, not bellicosity, of which he is the master. But a cogent presentation of a complex point or policy w a beginning middle & end.
No. What we have in our president, who takes every care to remind us how smart he is and how dumb everyone else is, is someone who cannot string a convincing logical thought together.
He can bark. He can play one on TV. He cannot lead.

That his people are constantly left breathless trying to follow around this unconscious bull in a china shop, changing the words he said, and the thoughts he utters is exemplary of the chaos that is settling into the fabric of our national consciousness.
This 'orange' thing is a silly one. One we can engage in because it is so meaningless and stupid.(but potentially indicative of something else).
Where it gets problematic is when Tr goes off on Nato, or canceling the ACA on his say so, or shutting down borders.
