This is farcical but is the latest example of the trick of foggery.

4) Strange how the world is exploding on what Barr said the report said. We don't know that. We won't know until we see the report in its unredacted complete form.
5) Its akin to trusting Trump when he says his taxes are coming, but in the meantime trust him...nothing there.

6) The most important thing to remember is Mueller was working on one question.
In the hopelessness of the first two years w the most supine sycophantic Congress imaginable, people piled on their hopes onto the "report".
7) That was an error, but not a fatal one.

8) Now expect Trump and company to bellow loud and long, making claims that are not supported by any of the evidence.
Just as Mueller's report did not go into every illegal & lawless aspect of Trump...neither does it vindicate him on those details.

9) That is a fact but facts are the last thing that will be in play today, and likely through the week...at least in the media. Both sides are going to be trying to stake out their ground.
It is going to be noisy.
But once that is done, Trump&Co still are not out of the woods.

SDNY for one. Congress.
If they get neutered or silenced then the game is truly over.

Accepting Barr's summary at face value, which should not be done, all that is confirmed is Tr&Co did not actively participate in the planning and the execution of screwing

13) around with the 2016 election. The only thing Trump is absolved of, at most, is he didn’t actively work w the Russians to this end.

But the Russians did interfere w the election. And Tr is the beneficiary of that effort. This also was established by Mueller's work.

14) It seems apparently that Barr cut off the investigation before it was in fact complete. The number of questions that are raised by this sudden end include at least:
Roger Stone
Trump Tower
Cohen's Testimony
Tr financial crimes
Jared
Constitutional violations

Manafort suppling voter rolls
The list remains long & likely includes details that have not hit the public square.

None of these issues are resolved.
None of these should be forgotten in the bombast that will be the next few days, or hopefully not weeks.
