Alright...this thread is about the first workshop on Bots in SE (@botse). The program is up on our workshop website (botse.github.io). Let me tell you about our dream-team starting lineup...
First up, keynote by @alanmnichol from @Rasa_HQ about conversational AI! RASA is at the forefront of bot tech in practice, really no one could do it better. Alan will also do a tutorial on the RASA framework...this might just be the best bang-for-your-buck experience ever!
..then we have 4 invited papers from legends in the field. Members of the @thechiselgroup (Carlene, Alexey, Mathieu & Peggy) will give (the much needed) lay of the land in bots in SE - they were there from the start of bot use in SE, so I can't wait to see what they have to say..
...Martin Monperrus will give a talk about repair bots. Martin had the first (if my memory serves me well) ICSE paper that uses bots to repair code...another invaluable talk on a topic that will have a huge impact on SE in the future...
... Chris and Chris will give an invited talk on effective bot recommendations. Now y'all might or might not know @chrisparnin, but the man is a visionary like no other...it will be a royal out-of-the-box experience...guaranteed!
...and if all that pure goodness was not enough, we have Rahul and the team from @Microsoft reporting on how they use AI & bots to support DevOps, giving us an up-and-close view of how giants like MSFT are using bots...
Now I know what you're thinking...so you better be there...all the other 53 registrants will :)
