Okay this from ⁦@nytimes⁩ Collusion Media reporters is what is known as a “narrative” dump to get ahead of bad news. Bombshells herein

THREAD nytimes.com/2019/04/09/us/…
“Mr. Horowitz’s investigators have also asked witnesses about informants that the F.B.I. turned to in the early stages of the investigation”

The NYT names Halper later on, but “informants” is plural. That means more than one

“the problematic Steele dossier”

Hey @adamgoldmanNYT when did the dossier officially become “problematic” in the narrative? I thought nothing had been debunked/proved wrong?

Does that make the @carterwpage FISA problematic, since @Comey, McCabe, Yates said that was “VERIFIED”?
“the bureau opened the counterintelligence investigation into Russia’s election meddling — including scrutinizing links to the Trump campaign — based on other information, and without the dossier”

“Other information” links to this error-ridden NYT article
“Top F.B.I. officials received the Steele information in September 2016”

Stop running interference for @RepAdamSchiff. Bruce Ohr testified under oath he gave Steele’s info to McCabe and Lisa Page almost immediately after meeting with Steele in D.C on July 30 2016. They are “top”
“Critics have argued that the court should have been explicitly told that the research was funded by the Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton campaign”

Or told at all in fact
“DOJ practice in filling out applications for secret wiretaps is to avoid naming Americans or American organizations”

Imagine if the DOJ/FBI could have summoned up the imagination to refer to Hillary and the DNC as “Candidate #2” and “Candidate #2’s political party” 🤦🏻‍♂️
“Investigators for Mr. Horowitz have asked about his role in helping the bureau investigate corruption at FIFA...suggesting that one focus of his is whether the bureau exaggerated Mr. Steele’s previous history with the bureau in its application to wiretap Mr. Page”

— BIG 🚨
I’m looking into the FIFA/Steele case hard and have been for months. More to follow when I have things confirmed and able to publish...but this is the right angle for Barr/Horowitz to look at
“Another F.B.I. lawyer involved in obtaining the warrant, Sally Moyer”

You forgot to mention Sally Moyer is the lawyer exchanging “viva la resistance” texts with the DOJ attorney who allegedly threatened @GeorgePapa19 with 20 years jail time for being a fictitious foreign agent
“Mr. Horowitz’s investigators have been asking questions about the role of Stefan A. Halper, another F.B.I. informant, and his prior work for the bureau”

“it was not clear whether Mr. Halper had the F.B.I.’s blessing to contact Mr. Clovis”

So you’re going with the line that Halper went rogue? Good luck with that 🤪
“Mr. Page has also said he met with Mr. Halper in mid-July 2016, about two weeks before the Russia investigation was opened”

After being invited to London by a student of Halper. You left that part out @nytimes. And that this violated clear FBI overseas CHS Procedures
“Mr Ohr spoke with Steele several times after the F.B.I. terminated its relationship with the former British spy & relayed information from those conversations to the bureau”

“[in documents] the F.B.I. said it had decided to end its relationship with Steele in Nov 2016”

NYT you forgot to mention that Bruce Ohr was ASKED to re-engage Steele by Andrew McCabe

Now imagine if Steele’s info related to Ohr at McCabe’s instruction found its way into any of the FISA renewals AFTER the FBI told the court it had terminated him as a source 🤔
