1) Susan Rice's Justification Memo & Obama’s Implausible Deniability

“The President (Obama) stressed that he is NOT ASKING about, initiating or instructing anything from a law enforcement perspective." Rice email to herself on President Trump's Inauguration Day (01/20/17).
2) BUT, Rice also wrote:

“The President ASKED (FBI Director) Comey to inform him if anything changes in the next few weeks that should affect how we share classified information with the incoming team. Comey said he would.”

So, in Obama-Speak, “I won’t ask, but YOU do tell.”
3) Obama was not “asking” FBI Director James Comey about what to do “from a law enforcement perspective.” It wasn't necessary, because the “investigation” was ongoing (hopefully in perpetuity) and Comey already knew what Obama expected of him.
4) Outgoing President Obama “asked” Comey to “inform him if anything changes in the next few weeks.” What the hell does that mean? The Rice memo doesn't say. Did Comey keep the former President “informed” after Inauguration Day? Is that what Comey meant by “Higher Loyalty?” Hm?
5) After all, much was made of one of Comey’s own memos-to-self, recounting a meeting at the White House with President Trump during which the President asked for (SHOCK!) "loyalty." Comey says he offered "honesty." The President then asked for “honest loyalty.”

A tall order?
6) On three separate occasions, Comey looked President Trump in the eye and said he was not under FBI investigation. Meanwhile Comey personally kept Obama informed as to the progress of the counterintelligence investigation, which Comey assured President Trump was non-existent.
7) “A house divided against itself, cannot stand. I do not expect the Union to be dissolved — I do not expect the house to fall — but I do expect it will cease to be divided. It will become all one thing or all the other.” Abraham Lincoln (1858)
