This poll is like a lot of other polls: Trump gets high marks on the economy and jobs but his own approval lags badly. Worst sub-issues for Trump in this poll: Health care and education.
Senate Republicans for, basically, the entirety of his presidency, would prefer he talk up the economy and not talk up the various controversies du jour.
