McConnell cites national security concerns and protected information as a reason to keep parts of the Mueller report a secret.
The House passed resolution calling for the release of the Mueller report 420-0. Lindsey Graham previously objected to passing it in the Senate unless it was amended to call for a second special counsel to investigate the Obama-era DOJ's handling of Hillary email case & FISA

Susan Collins wrote a letter on the same subject to Jeff Sessions; she hoped Barr would reconsider DOJ’s refusal to defend the ACA but instead he went from no pre-ex to total annihilation. 2/

Trump's first budget projected a $488 billion deficit for fiscal 2020.

Two years later, his latest budget projects a $1.101 Trillion deficit

What happened?

Revenue is $337B LESS than he had projected (Tax cuts!)
Spending is $276B HIGHER

= Extra $613B red ink
Total new red ink per American next year in Trump's budget:
About $3,000.
Fun fact: Last year Trump's budget proposed $1.6 billion for the wall. Remember?
We ended up having a shutdown because Trump demanded more, and then he got $1.375B after Pelosi got the gavel.

This is just the opening bid.

A lot of powerful Republicans, particularly in the Senate, are starting to acknowledge climate change is real and the need to do *something* about it.
So far they don't have a plan:

Affected: 2.3 million victims of hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria and California wildfires in 2017.

What did FEMA release that it wasn't supposed to?
The breach - which is from the Department of Homeland Security -- includes not only personally identifiable information (PII) but also sensitive PII (SPII) which includes financial account info ... 20 unnecessary data fields.
Look, this is not new law: the Privacy Act was first implemented in 1974 (subsequent amendments).

What's new is the level of incompetence demonstrated by the Trump Administration.
