In March 2016 the Washington Free Beacon ran the 1st hit piece on Page. What they didn’t disclose to readers at the time was that the Beacon hired Fusion GPS to dig up dirt on Trump. Follow up articles then appeared in NR and the Weekly Standard. 2/

Page was called a foreign agent by his own government. He was wiretapped (spied on!) for a year. An FBI informant “befriended” him in an attempt to get info on him. He was harassed by the media, lawmakers, and the public. He received death threats. 3/

Page was never charged with a crime.
Now it looks like Bill Barr might finally seek justice. Two years later, not one felonious leaker has been identified or charged. Between Barr, the IG, and Nunes referrals, let’s hope the time for justice and vindication for Page is nigh.
