So the PTI has filed a petition in the SC to set aside the Faizabad Suo Moto verdict, "accusing the author judge", Qazi Faez Isa, "of being biased."

But since it is Justice Faez Isa who has been singled out in the PTI petition, it is most important to highlight what he said when the hearings for this case were going on in SC.

@pakistan247tv When the hearing resumed in October 2018, Justice Faez Isa once again questioned why those who are responsible for ensuring safety of the state, continue to fail at doing their job.

In November 2018, Justice Faez Isa rejected FIVE reports submitted by the ISI on the Faizabad dharna, calling them insufficient. He also asked PEMRA who's ordering them to close media channels and why are they afraid of naming them.

And then, eventually, in February 2019 when the verdict came out, he wrote: "If any personnel of the armed forces indulges in any form of politicking or tries to manipulate the media he undermines the integrity and professionalism of the armed forces."

So all that which went on during the hearing and what was written in the verdict, it is incomprehensible to me at least why would PTI lodge a petition against him. The excuse they have mentioned is rather flimsy, and months old now!
