Nancy Pelosi - who won't even utter @IlhanMN's name - is now promoting the group of centrist Blairite MPs who melodramatically left the Labour Party based on the fictitious script that Jeremy Corbyn is either himself anti-Semitic or tolerant of anti-Semitism:
Pelosi's promoting and celebrating of this tiny, fringe group of Blairite MPs who left Labour would be as if she gave a keynote speech to the Third Way or fund-raised for NY State Senate's "Independent Democrats." Astounding meddling by her in UK politics vox.com/policy-and-pol…
But after meeting with and promoting this horrendous group of Blairites trying to sabotage the Labour Party, Pelosi left the building and put on some dark shades, creating a badass gif that shows she's still Our Qweeen. We love our political celebrities

Amazing: @PaulKrugman announces that one must not criticize Democratic centrists like Neera Tanden or else you're helping Trump. Less than 24 hours later, he says Bernie Sanders isn't trustworthy. You're allowed to slime the left: not just critique your establishment superiors:
This is the deceitful game establishment Dems like Krugman and Tanden have been playing for decades. You're not allowed to critique them or their establishment institutions or else you're helping the GOP and the Right win. But they're allowed to dump on the left all they want.
Also, this cynical attempt to drive a wedge between Bernie & @AOC on this ground isn't going to work because (a) AOC constantly critiques the Democratic establishment - that's why she ran against their Speaker-in-waiting! and (b) AOC pounded the pavement for Sanders in 2016.

Can someone please remind @danpfeiffer that not only did Obama give exclusive interviews to ***Bill O'Reilly*** when he was a presidential candidate, but also gave O'Reilly an exclusive Super Bowl interview in the White House, by far the single most "legitimizing" act for Fox:
Since @danpfeiffer has bizarrely forgotten: you can watch Obama's exclusive Fox News interview from 2008 with O'Reilly here (); Obama's 2011 Super Bowl interview with O'Reilly here (); and again in 2014 ().
If you're worried about "legitimizing" Fox News, what could possibly have achieved that more than giving 3 exclusive interviews - one as the Democratic presidential nominee & then two Super Bowl interviews as President *from the White House*- to Bill O'Reilly? And here's Hillary:

Labour Against the Witchhunt wouldn't even report a Nazi.

LAW have welcomed former MP Jim Sheridan's reinstatement by the party. He was suspended last summer over an #antisemitic statement he posted on Facebook. But LAW don't accept he did anything wrong in the first place. /1
When Labour members err, there ought to be opportunity for them to learn from the experience and make amends. But comrade Sheridan's statement after his suspension was lifted suggested his only regret was getting caught and he appeared to blame those who complained about him. /2
Let's recall what got him into trouble: Sheridan declared he had lost respect and empathy for an entire ethnic group - "the Jewish community" - due to events in @UKLabour. The #Holocaust, pogroms and persecution no longer moved him because of "their Blairite plotters". /3

1. I don't really pay much attention to #Labour Twitter. It;s not really saying anything worth my time. The right of the party are all Blairite remainers who I've always hated since they embody the worst of left wing paternalism and snobbery. Thread...
2. The left of the party however, is a shitshow of hipster communists and gobby younglings who know fuck all about nine tenths of anything, pushing a socialist agenda they don't understand much less comprehend the implications of it.
3. Then as I understand it, their fondness for Brexit is based on some half understood notions about competition rules and state aid - but in actuality they couldn't give a toss about Brexit. They're just at war with the FBPE morons since they attack Corbyn. Purely tribal.

Do you remember the Democrats and the CNN crowd rushing to blame Saudi Arabia for the 9-11 attack on the Twin Towers? Or to blame Islam? I don’t. There were 19 murderers on 9-11, and 15 of them came from Saudi Arabia. The others also were Muslims.
And all we hear — from Obama and George W. Bush on down — is that Islam is a “religion of peace,” so don’t blame Islam. Obama tells us that ISIS “is not Islamic.” Instead, we were told after 9-11, the “Saudis are our friends.”
