A man and woman accused in connection to an armed robbery at the Circle K location on Freshwater Road in St. John’s are on trial today in Provincial Court. @VOCMNEWS 
Police arrested and charged James Glasco, 45, and Amanda Maher, 35, as a result of their investigation. Both face charges of robbery, theft, and court breaches. Glasco is also accused of possession of a dangerous weapon and disguise with intent. @VOCMNEWS
It happened December 11, 2018. The employee who was working at the Circle K at the time testified a woman entered the door and bought a pepsi. He says it happened sometime after 2 a.m., when doors to the storefront were locked. He let her in. @VOCMNEWS
In a surveillance video taken from the store, it shows the woman leaving/and holding the door for a man who walks in. He smashes the lottery display case with a bat, demanding cash. He then demands cartons of cigarettes, stuffs them in a book bag, and leaves. @VOCMNEWS
The employee of Circle K - who had only been living in the country for 4 years - told the judge the robbery left him very scared.
