The $129-Million earmarked for Budget 2019 will go towards cost-shared projects to improve water and wastewater systems, roads, and community-oriented infrastructure. @VOCMNEWS
Among the projects this money will go towards: water and/or sewer upgrades in Arnold’s Cove, Bonavista, Hughes Brooke, Lodge Bay, Makkovik, and Twillingate. @VOCMNEWS
Community Center upgrades are planned for Chance Cove, Comfort Cove-Newstead and Howley. @VOCMNEWS
Money for fire services will benefit Botwood, George’s Brook-Milton, Musgrave Harbour, South Brook (Hall’s Bay), Stephenville and Winterton. @VOCMNEWS
