Fire has therefore been burning for just over 40 mins.
Police cordon established. Fire brigade responding. No evidence that they've begun to extinguish the fire.

Worth adding that this will be incredibly difficult/impossible to put out. The spire will likely be lost. Too dangerous to go inside. Really struggling to see how this can be stopped.
