People are ending up in jail because they had their Google-tracked phone on them at the wrong time in the wrong place. It’s utterly reprehensible that Google stores location data like this for so long. If the data is there, the cops will ask for it. Don’t. Keep. The data!!
Next question should be: Does this “only” concern Android phones or are iOS phones running Google Maps liable to this kind of invasive, dangerous tracking as well? That sounds like the best argument for switching to Apple Maps I’ve yet heard.

The revelation that Amazon has workers around the world listening in on Alexa – and either being amused or disturbed by what they hear (and passing clips around the office) – is frequently met with WHY ARE YOU SURPRISED? Same weak response the NSA revelations got 👎
The deciding factor is actual proof and reporting. You can suspect all sorts of nefarious things of all sorts of organizations, but until you uncover evidence, it's not very actionable now, is it? So boost the reports when they're there rather than poo-poo the confirmation.

Game concepts --

• You disarm explosives, it's a rhythm game
• Platformer with very deep pits; like, if you fall, it may take a couple minutes
• A first-person shooter *after* the big battle; you're just walking around, like, oh hey, yes, I do still have my rifle, I dunno
• A tactical RPG where you *start* with a ridiculously enormous number of units but will inevitably suffer massive losses until an elite few remain for the final skirmishes

• Where's Waldo on NES sucked, but an I Spy game could legit be solid for kids and stuff if not already
• Multiplayer online shooter but with TINY arenas, like, 15 combatants all start in the same men's room of some mid-tier Mexican restaurant, extremely rapid matches

• A racing game but each vehicle is in freefall and you just affect fall direction by deploying fins skillfully
