Let me start this thread by saying that, there are actually no gang ups against Nigerians in terms of issuing our visas..as much as I know of..

From September 2018 Last Year till February 2019, we have been issued 12 Schengen visas for Our Clients both Italy and spain.

though one has no choice but to agree that the decision making system has become a bit more tighter and stricter..the demands on visa applicants from Nigeria esp. are just a bit more higher than u may find in other climes and neighboring countries.

The Aviation , Travel and Tours industry is a a multi million dollar industry that turns in tonnes of millions in dollars yearly…this include monies made from visitors coming in and out of your country, flight booking, hotels and tour centers

..they all are in the mix and partake in the spoil as it were.
So embassies are even more eager to grant visas to anyone who will or appears to help them fulfil and sustain this money making mission.

This is the background of everything that comes to mid when they want u to come over to their side; be it on Temporary or permanent basis..
They want skilled workers to come help them grow their economy.
They want tourist n visitors to come in briefly, spend some money in their

country and leave..if for any reason u stay back , u start being a liability to them or start costing them additional overhead ..atleast that is what they see illegal migration as.
Hence the struggle to keep such kinds of people out, while your own struggle

is to convince them you are not among The bad guys and your visit is in their Best interest.
As far as visa application is concerned , this is the background guys..

NOW THE BIG QUESTION IS , HOW DO YOU CONVINCE A CONSULAR YOU ARE THE GOOD GUY,GIVE ME A VISA?
Now the consular/Visa Officers, have a functional checklist and certain immigration policy framework they operate by, this helps guide their decision on visa issuance or rejection

as it were.
So, to stand a chance , you should meet atleast 85% of the requirement on the list.

Here is a look at some of the important Requirements and how to fulfil these requirements.

1. AGE
As far as travel is concerned, age is a very sensitive factor and hence they pay alot of attention to it. By the rule a minor is one below 21 yrs of age..which means you cant travel alone and if you must do, then a lot of documents needs to be provided by parents.

That’s not our focus here..
Here is My surest advice for best results as far age is concerned;

For Undergraduate studies- anything above 23yrs is not ideal.
For PG- anything above 28/29 may put u at a tight corner..except u get lucky or you are going for short courses

and training not full time study Msc.

For Visit Visa- anything below 29yrs of age may not yield the best results except for these reasons;

-you have travelled out often before(not dubia and Ghana biko)😔
- you are married with kids here.

- you are going under the umbrella of a recognized organisation
- sports team or a musical band.. etc.

2 .FINANCIAL STRENGTH
We have talked about this a lot and its importance cant be ignored. The moment your application lands on their table, the first move is to see your

financial strength via your banking records for the past 6 months.

What has been coming in (income) and how your spending pattern is like etc.
I wont dwell much here..let me quickly give u a breakdown of how ur account should look while applying.

Individual trip – Minimum Account closing balance should be 2million Naira.

With Wife and 2 Kids- minimum should be 5Million plus…don’t joke with this..
it can be the only reason for denial..
Them No send You Oh!😅

3. PURPOSE OF TRAVEL
There has to be a reason you got up from your bed, and started putting papers together to apply for a Visa ..aint it?
Good! Oya show us the evidence of your reason to come to our country and concretize that reason with document.

Oton! e no go cause quarrel!

For Study Visa , its straight forward-
Present Your admission letter, Letter of acceptance of admission, accommodation and if possible course outline/ study guide etc..

Shebi its study u want to come and study? Fiwon mi…Lol..😆

For Conference – Your IV letters, hotel accommodation, and other relevant Conference docs.

Invitation From A friend- show letter of Invitation, copies of resident documents, utility bills etc..

Visit/ Tour- show verifiable documents for your Tour with a reputable company and Hotel Accommodation + Well booked return Flight ticket details.

4.TIES BACK HOME
This is another area where we get burnt a lot..what can you show to proof that you will come back home?
Be you a student, Visitor/Tourist.. show evidence of your ties here in Nigeria..

Do you have a Mansion in Lekki, do your have a functional Business here, do you have a chieftaincy position here, a well paying Job, a major project you are handling here In Nigeria etc..

5. PREVIOUS TRAVEL EXPERIENCE.

This is Important but I will tell You this, travel experience becomes less important with the following reasons;

A Higher Age: if a man who is 40 is applying for a schengen visa , travel experience becomes less important.. which other experience is better than his ages…LOL!!!😆😆😆
Applying for A Tourist Visa to an actual Country/city Known for Tourism:

Every country has certain attractions for Tourist, but there are countries known for Tourism Eg, Paris, kenya, Greece(Santorini) LOL😆🤗, Italy, Rwanda, Few states in the US…
Canada is not Known for Tourism… are we together?

5. PRESENT OCCUPATION /ACTIVITY OR ENGAGEMENTS BACK HOME.

Show work documents.. official employment document etc

6. PREVIOUS APPLICATIONS AND IMMIGRATION ISSUES.
This may inform their decision especially when you have had previous issues with immigration- Eg Bans, revoked Visas , arrested and deported etc.

7. INTENDED PERIOD OF STAY- Be calculative here. Don’t ask for 3weeks stay when your leave is stating 14days for example..use Your Upper!

8. INVITING PERSONS. this could be dicey..be careful here..refer to previous point on Purpose travel

9. INTENDED AMOUNT FOR THE TRIP- 1900 EUROS minimum.
see how the calculation is done – Flight + Hotel for the number of days+ Sightseeing+ Shopping etc

10. MARITAL STATUS: Being married is better always.. GO AND MARRY bros..its also a good Ties..family ties.

11. INSURANCE COVER. Use schegen recognized travel Health insurance companies.. 14days or 1month cover is ok!

12. COVER LETTER/ INTRODUCTORY LETTER- I have done a long thread on this few weeks back.. very very important.. Visa Officers now make decisions based on how detailed Your cover letter is.. explaining everything word for word.

13. EVIDENCE TO SHOW YOU ARE A LEGAL CITIZEN OF NIGERIA; voters card, National identity card etc.

I HAVE JUST HANDED YOU A RECIPE THAT PEOPLE PAY THOUSAND TO LEARN

IF YOU FOLLOW THIS FORMAT , YOU WILL HARDLY GET DENIED A VISA..
YOU HAVE SIMPLY BEATEN THE SYSTEM AND PUT YOURSELF AMONGS THE VERY FEW TO BE STRONGLY CONSIDERED..
