And hello! From Nashua Community College in Nashua, NH, where former Congressman Beto O’Rourke is scheduled to hold a Town Hall, his last event of the day. 
And Beto O’Rourke is here, sporting, as has become his wont, a baseball cap from the local college (in this case, Nashua Community College).
Speaking @ Nashua Community College, Beto O’Rourke gives kudos to Rep Annie McLane Kuster, w/ whom he served in the House Veterans Affairs Committee: “Annie, I’m going to follow your lead, I’d love to be a partner with you in the White House on mental health and substance abuse.”
A student here at NCC asks what Beto O’Rourke would do to counter a bill supported by Governor Sununu that requires out of state students to pay a vehicle registration fee to vote. He pledges, “I would sign into law a new voting rights act that would ensure one person, one vote.”
Beto O’Rourke is asked in Nashua if he supports abolishing the electoral college— he says, “The short answer is yes, if we want to get back to one person one vote,” but in lieu of abolishing it, he suggests dividing electoral votes within states by popular vote.
Beto O'Rourke is asked about the Mueller report here at Nashua Community College-- O'Rourke says "I've been able to read really just some top lines only," but "if you did not have collusion, then there might very well have been cooperation."
Discussing the Mueller report in Nashua, NH, Beto O'Rourke says, "On the issue of obstruction of justice, from what I have read so far of the report, to me it seems very clear that that was a president's intent."
.@jmartNYT asked Beto O’Rourke what he’s hearing from primary voters about the possibility of impeachment vs focusing on beating Trump in 2020– O’Rourke said he’s only gotten qs about Mueller “2 or 3 times,” & impeachment would ultimately “be a political decision” for the House.
