As we carefully consider next moves, let's not forget the following:
We were attacked. We're still being attacked. The method of attack: infiltration of our social media, our news sources, and the general information ecosystem. The best way to combat this is by providing ample exposure for the truth.

Let's not repeat a failure of imagination. If you think norms won't be shattered, or insane moves won't be made, look back over the past 2+ years. This is an unprecedented moment in history and will require unprecedented actions to deal with it.
Some of the people who swore an oath to defend this country are not doing so. These people are in positions of power. These people have the same access to a good chunk of the playbook as the patriots do. Fighting under these conditions will take cunning and brilliance.
The Republicans have burned the boats. They will fight like they have everything to lose, because they do.
In impeachment, the House votes, and then the president is impeached (or "indicted,” in a way). After that, the Senate holds a trial. A team of lawmakers from the House act as prosecutors, and the Senate is the jury.
Presiding over the trial is the Chief Justice (John Roberts in this case).

There are no set rules to impeachment, and the Senate is allowed to make them.

Paul Manafort, who volunteered to work for Trump for free, even though he was broke and owed money to the mafia state. Paul Manafort, an opportunistic liar, who's sitting in prison. He wanted Pence, and he wanted him for a reason.

Eventually, the population will come to a point where they'll do anything to make it stop. And that's when Russia and her agents appear with the solution that benefits the Kremlin.
Remember that this isn't just about us. Our allies are fighting this same fight. It's about democracy in general, and what kind of world we want for us and our children.
It's about obliterating transnational organized crime, stomping it to the ground, burning it...and salting their playgrounds with their own ashes.

If you think it's not possible for him to win again, refer to the polls that told us over and over that Hillary would win, and remember how you felt as the night progressed on November 8, 2016, and the realization washed over your body like ice water.
The 2020 election cycle has already started. In 561 days, we vote.
Again, the attack on us is through our information ecosystem. The GOP will not give any exposure to the truth. We need for investigations and hearings - bolstered by Mueller's report, and by compelling testimony- to be run by Dems.
Every instance of trading our country for money, of working with the mob, of welcoming attacks on Americans, of generally disgusting behavior...needs to be on full, stark display every day between now and next fall. It needs to dominate the news. Every. Single. Day.
This - gaslighting at a nuclear level - happened a few weeks ago. If Dems are running the show, it'll be much harder for the enemy to continue making inroads in this information battle.
We need more of this. We need as much of this as possible.
Ensuring the Dems run the show and thereby have the upper hand on this informational battlefield (and ending this nightmare while also preserving our country) *may* mean that the road to the actual vote is a long one.
We can do this. It'll require courage and creativity, but those things aren't exactly lacking in these parts. We can do this.
