Local elections a week tomorrow, the first of six waves of disaster that are going to hit the Tories.
And each one worse than the last.

However bad for the Tories the local elections are next week, the European elections three weeks after that a disaster in the face.
European elections were never supposed to happen, and Fartage will be in his element.

And then the confidence and supply agreement with the DUP expires four weeks after that.
They're going to make demands that Theresa May can't meet, and the Tories will be heading into summer with a plain minority government.

Two election disasters and relegated to a minority government. If Theresa May makes it into the summer recess, the two year parliament expires, and now she faces the problem of getting a new Queen's speech through parliament in September.

And even if by miracle and make-belief Theresa May gets a Queen's speech through parliament, she's then got a party conference in full mutiny, and then her Brexit extension expires in October.
And still no nearer solving any of her problems, she is bound to ask for another.

And finally, five weeks after the Brexit extension needs renewing, the moratorium on leadership challenges expires anyway.
Six unwinnable events, each one worse than the last, and one of them will finish her off.

I'm going to be right all along. Theresa May will never get a withdrawal agreement through parliament, and in the absence of it, she's going to be sacked.
