@davrosz They’re collaborating careerists, the bulk of them, they’re ‘insiders’ in the worst possible way. Their wilful ignorance & faux grievances are living proof of a dead institution. Look at how Abbott & Credlin were ushered into power.

@davrosz The trust they’ve inherited from last century has disappeared along with the tenure that once emboldened them. Universities have suffered the same loss of intellectual courage bcz they are now run by weaselly MBA types.

@davrosz The sole goal of modern management is to control, & every institution in Australia has been crippled & cowed by people who don’t care one jot about the societal value of their charges.

@davrosz Look at what remains of the Public Service.They’ve been psycho-whipped into abeyance by the Libs & their larcenous networks.
So, we now have a nation in name only. It’s been razed to the ground by the myopic goals of people who lack intellectual depth& literary/historical breadth

@davrosz Australia is a prison-hulk & no amount of sport, war-boy nationalism or boofhead-feeding jingoism will change that.
New Zealand has Jacinda Adern, we have a white-trashy collection of the politically shell-shocked, half-smart, weaponised sociopaths & a despairing intelligentsia

@davrosz Academics should be leading the way in all matters but they’re corralled by the facts that political grifters ignore their dedication to topic&their work is sequestered into for-profit publishing house. They know that their work is essentially pointless bcz it will be warehoused

@davrosz We use Royal Commissions to show we care about an issue & then ignore the carefully gleaned findings. We then have another one. Nothing these brilliant people do, the PS, the academics, the social reformers matters.

@davrosz I’ve given up, in the best possible way. I’m so disappointed with this country, the country I was privileged to be born into, that I now think I’ve seen the best of it.
Giving up means that my life can eke away without it being an issue. I’ve done many things & made many mistakes

@davrosz I was inspired towards social goals. Ive seen how things work & how people manoeuvre things towards cruelty. My revulsion of these people is visceral bcz they deliberately mar the hopes of good people. To call them ‘evil’ isn’t countenanced bcz that word’s been declared obsolete

Why can’t we separate the faeces from the food? Isn’t that how we beat typhoid?
But no, we’re too pious to avoid the disease that’s killing us. Hygiene is for ‘moralists’.
The power remains with amoralists.

@davrosz So, to iterate, I’ve surrendered. I have found my limitations & can live with them. I can live a good life & enjoy my luck. It’s just a real bloody shame I can’t help those who live meagrely, or those who live in fear, or those who are driven mad by their own confusion.

@davrosz A social democracy, ideally, would be run by people who do it for its own sake.
The well-being of citizens, the land, the wildlife & the global climate would be seen as central to a secular state, govt acts as a parent should.
