1. I'm not going to ID his name or link to his fucking manifesto but the apprehended shooter is exactly the type of alt-right shithead one would expect. And not surprisingly he claimed to have also attacked a Mosque.
1. The shape of violent white nationalist anti-Semitism is clear: the ideology is replacement theory (i.e. Jews are using immigrants to displace whites). The problem is that this thinking is not confined to extreme but has counterpart among respectable right (i.e. Soros baiting)
2. It's best to think of Nazis & alt-light as two wings of the same movement, the violent terrorist wing and the reputable public wing. The alt-light have real positions in Trump administration, congress & right-wing media. They echo in muted form the core ideas of Nazis.
