Breaking: @realDonaldTrump sues @DeutscheBank, trying to invalidate congressional subpoenas for records about its lending to him. Story coming @nytimes
Court documents show that @DeutscheBank was preparing to hand over reams of information about @realDonaldTrump's finances by May 6. Here's the gist of what was subpoenaed, per Trump legal filing.
A Deutsche Bank spokeswoman tells me that “we remain committed to providing appropriate information to all authorized investigations and will abide by a court order regarding such investigations.”
This isnt the first time @realDonaldTrump has sued @DeutscheBank. He also sued in 2008, after he stopped repaying a loan and blamed DB for causing financial crisis. Still, DB kept lending to him.

As part of the investigation, the FBI recently contacted the lawyer for Tammy McFadden, the former Deutsche Bank compliance specialist who flagged Kushner Companies' 2016 Russian transactions -- and then was fired. We wrote about her last month: nytimes.com/2019/05/19/bus…
FBI agents also have been interviewing Val Broeksmit @BikiniRobotArmy, whose father Bill Broeksmit committed suicide in 2014. Val told me he has provided the FBI with internal @DeutscheBank documents and emails that he retrieved from his father's email accounts.

The details here are disturbing — court docs say Chapo drugged the girls by "placing a powdery substance into their drinks" — but the allegation that Chapo had sex with underage girls isn't new. DEA agent Drew Hogan told us about it in the podcast: open.spotify.com/episode/738NnU…
The reason this didn't come up during the trial is that one of the cooperating witnesses — Alex Cifuentes — was also having sex with young girls and helping Chapo drug them. The government didn't want that info to come up on cross-examination.
