My top ten Barr admissions and claims today:

1) A president can obstruct an investigation if he thinks he’s innocent

2) Trump obstructing doesn’t mean he wasn’t coooperating

3) Reviewing the evidence wasn’t necessary when deciding the most important case in 50 years

4) Barr knows Trump didn’t ask him to investigate anyone but also can’t remember if he did or didn’t

5) Misrepresenting Mueller’s conclusions wasn’t lying even when it was knowingly false

6) Releasing a summary isn’t releasing a summary if you call it “principal conclusions”

7) Barr didn’t base his decisions on DOJ guidelines. He based them on the guidance in Mueller’s report - even though that guidance was based explicitly on those guidelines

8) Barr reached his decision on a report he hadn’t received based on what he thought it was going to say

9) Barr knows Trump wasn’t thinking anything when he obstructed so it wasn’t obstruct-y... cuz he’d have to be thinking bad things for that.

10) It isn’t illegal for a POTUS to fire someone he’s legally allowed to fire... even if he’s firing them for clearly illegal reasons

Seriously, today was such a tour de force of self-impeachment and credibility destruction, I still can’t believe it.

Barr self-immolated on the floor of the Senate.

Any one of these would be a scandal in any other admin.

He’s gotta go. Yesterday. Begin impeachment proceedings.
