ut this isn't "we both did it." The equivalent would be a direct and secret order from Bill Clinton to the CIA and NSA to start messing with Russian comms, faking Russian political activity, targeting Russian citizens for disinfo ops, and hoping to steal the election. /3
To say "Well, we both did it" shows how low the people who now call themselves conservatives and Republicans - the former party of national security - have sunk in order to justify actions by Trump that would have had their hair on fire in any other administration. /4x
