I suspect she's spinning the media - I suppose it could be accidental, but no Dem cooperates with an article by Glenn Thrush and expects to be portrayed favorably. That's when I felt confident the "hmm, I see no need to impeach here" is a front to make sure we time it well.

Each day of testimony in Roger Stone's November trial will open another window for the public into the collusion evidence. And it's crucial we keep those windows SHUT until then - because Stone's lawyers and criminal cronies can see through every window we can see through.

Thus, though I continue to believe that opening a FORMAL impeachment inquiry is mandated, I feel pretty certain that Dem leaders and the Dem public at large will come together on that point by November.

Meanwhile, the INFORMAL impeachment inquiry will continue, in hearings.

If the formal impeachment begins in Nov., we have three punches hitting at once:

- Stone's trial evidence of the collusion link.

- Flipping the "spygate" inquiry against Trump

- Formal impeachment process.

It would be hobbling to proceed with the HOM blanket still intact.

And this timetable allows us to get other matters out from HOM as well. The various Trump Org criminal matters, etc.

Of course, if Stone were to flip sooner (though I doubt he will), we could see this move up.

And all three of the above lines of pounce will be percolating through every Dem's debate prep. Like a perfect impeachment and election storm rolled into one.
