Oh no, Brer Trump, please don’t throw me in the briar patch...
This is an absurdly empty threat. Thus far every actual release of documents has refuted the claims of misconduct it was supposed to demonstrate. If there’s damning documentary proof of some “setup”... why on earth would Trump be OFFERING TO KEEP IT SECRET if Dems go easy?
His story here is literally that he has hard proof of the corrupt, political abuse of intelligence powers he regularly makes public accusations about, but wants to *spare the public* evidence of those crimes. Trump is openly claiming that *he is covering up Democrats’ crimes*. 
If you believe this whole narrative about a deep state cabal committing crimes in cahoots with Democrats to rig our political system, shouldn’t you be sort of outraged that Trump is offering to help cover it up?
(Alternatively, if you acknowledge it’s ridiculous to imagine he’d do any such thing... does this perhaps raise a doubt or two about the rest of the story?)
