Below in pertinent part is a transcript of Mark Levin’s remarks from his show on Monday:

“And now, of course, we have this attack on Bill Barr. ‘You know, if you don’t give us that whole d--- report by Wednesday, we’re going to hold you in contempt.’

“Now, ladies and gentlemen, if Bill Barr gave them the whole report by Wednesday, he would be violating federal law since 6E grand jury information is secret as a matter of federal law passed by Congress.

“So, unless Congress amends its own law, or Congress goes to the courts and makes the claim that this information should be public, and it meets the standard that Congress set in the original statute, the information’s not free to be made public...

...nor should you want it to be made public – grand jury information.

And so, these people in the Congress and on this committee, they’re well aware of this. So why are they doing this? They’re trying to humiliate people.

They’re trying to embarrass people, even though they know that this stuff is not supposed to be in public.

“Why did Congress pass this law in the first place? To prevent people from being treated as if they’re criminals without any kind of fair due process.

And so the attorney general is trying to protect that. And he’s standing up for the law that Congress originally passed – not this Congress, not this bunch of mobsters. No.

And so, they would lose that litigation."
