You may not know what self confidence means.
1. Lack of confidence can make you lose opportunities
2. Employers don't like people who are not confident about their skills and capabilities

3. Being good at something is not enough. The ability to stand out and tell people what you are good at is what makes the difference between you and other people

4. It is worth doing a self assessment and noting the things that have been pulling your self-esteem down. Know what you need to work on to improve your self image and your confidence

6. It doesn't matter your area of expertise, English in Kenya is important being able to express yourself will help you through the interview, after which you will figure out how to do the actual job

It's good to take note of the things that are making lack confidence and work on them

9. It's one thing to have an academic qualification, but a different game to defend it. Being able to match your qualifications and the actual job and how it's done can improve your confidence

Comparing yourself to others and engaging in self defeating thoughts can lower your self-esteem hence your confidence goes down..

If you can't believe in yourself, if can't believe in what you are worth. How then do you expect people to believe in you and what you can offer?
