I have no issues with a Vaishnava or Vaishnavism. But I have big issue with colonial stereotyping of our Sages and Saints disregarding all the facts.

Look at the Manglacharan by Tulsidas to any of his texts. He starts with Ganesha and Sarawati followed by PanchaDevas ie Vishnu, Shiva, Surya and Devi.
This is स्मार्त tradition not Vaishnava tradition.

To know about Karkare one has to go back to RAW during Gujral Doctrine days when this Punjabi Dhimmi was the PM of India and other Punjabi Dhimmis like Dullat were ruling the roost in India's intelligence apparatus.

Die Argumentation von Augstein ist seltsam verschwurbelt.
Und natürlich ist auch die Frage erlaubt, warum private NGO glauben, nach der Rettung von sich freiwillig in Seenot begebenden Afrikaner diese nicht zurück zur nächsten Küste zu bringen, wie das Seerecht es vorschreibt, sondern nach Europa zu kutschieren.
