@SecNielsen This all happened today under a shadow of the 9th circuit deciding just Tuesday that DHS can continue sending asylum seekers back to Mexico because of their egregiously flawed reading of immigration law.

One of the 3 judges even says so. (See pg 17)

@SecNielsen A second of the judges comments that, while DHS is likely to ultimately prevail (why? this makes no sense) CBP is doing a bad thing by not following the rules and asking people if they have a fear of being returned to Mexico, before, you know, returning them to Mexico.

@SecNielsen We have a duty to our treaty obligations and our own laws against "refoulement" and as @BobMooreNews clearly shows, that ain't workin out. DHS is quite obviously in breach of the law.

But there is ONLY ONE IMMIGRATION JUDGE hearing their cases.

No wonder the backlog is up to a year already. This is ridiculous!
