Day 1: Arrived in Bangkok with no problems for most of the time, except losing a bit of time from running around the airport since no one actually told us tht we could just exit the airport before transitting to our next flight the next morning.
So we missed out on the countdown and the fireworks that we anticipated so much. But, its no drama really, least I got to experience a bit of Thailand for the first time. So, it wasn't all that bad.

There’s lots of rumblings about the military building the wall. Trump privately presses for military to pay for border wall a.msn.com/01/en-us/BBKMv… My opinion? This is more strategic deception by Trump. Here’s why.
As I wrote the other day, Ryan’s Rules Committee created a door in the NDAA that allows Trump to build the wall using DoD funding. A lot of people got excited about that. I gained a ton of new followers with this thread: threadreaderapp.com/thread/9779717…
But, as I’ve pointed out, although the door is open, POTUS still has to have permission to spend the money. And I have searched in vain for the funds to do that. There has to be either a contingency fund or funds set aside for an emergency in order for him to use them.
