There is no middle ground that doesn't results in millions or even billions dead or displaced.

And that's just about the humans.
Also even if you're so inclined as to be charitable to positions Biden held in the past and has moved away from, this is about the present, and the future. A future which doesn't stretch out that far for him.
So Biden's folks are pushing back on this story. But I'll stand by "there is no middle ground," because I just don't think even most smart people get what enormous changes we need to make. And the sooner we make them, the less hard and horrible it will be:

1) I'm trying, on this hiatus from writing/making #Billions, to write something different. I need to start from scratch. There is an urgency in my brain, something that keeps this idea, world, story coming to the fore. And I've noticed, all the old fear coming to fore, too.
2) This feels important to share. Even those of us who KNOW how rough first drafts feel, who know that a finished product--the novel or play or movie--we see is polished and refined and finished, even we can be momentarily defeated by the daunting and seemingly impossible task.

My poll to address the fake poll on Monday that gave #Biden a 32pt lead but then turned that just mean 180 people has closed. The poll was for 50 and under.

Here are the results:
Harris 39%
Buttigieg 38%
Warren 32%
Castro 23%
Klobuchar 21%
Beto 18%
Bernie 16%

Just under 24k people voted.
There were several hundred write-ins, nearly half of which were @AndrewYang. Also getting write-ins: Inslee, Tulsi, Swalwell, Williamson, Gillibrand, Booker.
It was a good poll.

The function was to point out that people 50 and under who mostly do not have cell phones are not being repped in these national polls. And also that those small samplings of 400 or 50 people are not representative.

What's #Biden's policy?
At the rallies he has given thus far it has been "my buddy Barack."
NPR ran a feed this morning, and that was it.
Today #Harris is unveiling education, #Buttigieg prison reform and
#Gillibrand got the Secretary of Defense to address sexual assault.
There is plenty of time to choose a candidate from among the 24 running.
If you don't have a landline, no one is polling you. That doesn't mean your choice is invalid. It means pollsters don't know what year it is.
In my informal polling, only one in every 30 people has a landline.
All but one respondent was over 50.
None was for Biden.
So there's your poll.

Now that Biden is in, he'll have to actually present a platform. Joking about sexual harassment isn't one, nor is complaining #AnitaHill should just get over herself, nor is "I was Obama's VP!"
The question is, who's Biden's base? Not millennials, not Gen Xers.

Am I in the twilight zone? Do I really need to explain why an older man (in a position of power) putting his hand on the thigh of a 19-year-old who had just talked about being sexually assaulted is WRONG? Especially when she said she squirmed to get his hand away?
