The Mueller report is a clear roadmap for impeachment, because that’s the only path Mueller had. But impeachment shouldn’t be the only way that a president can be held accountable for committing a crime.
No president should be above the law. So why does this Justice Department act like he is? Because in the 1970s Richard Nixon’s Justice Department wrote a memo saying so (yes, really) and DOJ has continued to stand by that view.

I've read the intelligence. I attended yesterday’s briefing. The latest crisis with Iran didn't come out of thin air—it is a direct result of this president's actions.
The #IranDeal was working, but Trump ripped it up anyway—over the advice of his own national security team. For the last year, the administration has been goading and provoking the Iranian regime. Attempting to collapse their economy. Hinting at regime change.
Trump's actions alienate us from our allies and empower Iran's hardliners. They raise the risk of conflict and make us less safe. Chaos and confusion isn't a strategy—it's a recipe for disaster. I won't let this administration drag us into another war in the Middle East.

Right-wing lawmakers in Alabama just enacted the most extreme abortion ban in over 40 years, the latest in a wave of abortion bans across the country in states like Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Ohio. Republicans are on the march to overturn Roe v. Wade.
They’re hoping the Supreme Court will back their radical play, and it might work. Donald Trump packed the courts with extreme, anti-choice judges. Senate Republicans stole a SCOTUS seat & rammed through Justice Kavanaugh’s confirmation in order to cement an anti-choice majority.
Our next President can begin to undo some of the damage by appointing neutral and fair judges who actually respect the law and cases like Roe instead of right-wing ideologues bent on rolling back our rights. But Congress has a role to play as well.

Garbage like this is why white people refuse to be seen by doctors of color. They think everything we have was given to us out of pity

They believe access to everything is equal because somehow 50 years of self-selected white ignorance trumps 350 years of structural exclusion.
I can’t speak for the UK but anti-black sentiment are literally hardwired into the brains of white Americans because of the frequency with which white people are anti-black imagery. This is data.

It’s impossible to overcome prejudice by pretending those connection don’t exist.
The average white person isn’t neurologically capable of setting aside their bias to choose the best person for the job because whiteness refuses to critically examine itself, white people generally refuse to study the data, anti-black imagery is entirely unavoidable in the US.

The closures that @Rachael_Swindon highlights should also been seen in the context of government policy. She is completely right that this is how the Tories are reducing #socialmobility but it is also how they are reducing access to other vital services for the most vulnerable.
It has long been government policy (in common with other countries) that people should access government services online. Other countries recognise that there is a need to keep other options open to protect the most vulnerable. The UK government took a different approach.
The UK government decided to tell people who had difficulty accessing #digital services that they should go to the #library where staff would help them. They then gave no funding for the training of library staff or for their time or for the equipment needed.

1) I'm a big fan of @markthompson1 and his beligerent poking of government to be and do better in the #internet age. His thinking on #platform government #paas #gaap is right on the money. However, some things to consider as part of the debate...hopefully helpful...
2) I'm not sure comparisons between government and the big #tech #innovators of the past 10 years do the #legogovernment argument justice. There are too many differences for the comparison to be helpful. Think lack of democratic accountablity for starters (more now than ever!)...
