Managing #fear is no easier than managing #greed. Yet, we spend disproportionate time managing it. Rarely do we handle it well on our own. Being fearful and lonely is a very bad place to be in.

Often the worst managers of #fear are the most daring looking. Outwardly courage is such a soap bubble that it makes you forget what you are inside. And, it unfailingly exposes who you really are at the most inappropriate moment.

Insecurity in modest proportion is actually good. It induces fear early enough.
A false sense of security does more harm than the lack of it. Being a bit unsure induces #fear at the right time, early enough to warn & prepare oneself.

The adequacy of returns or the lack of it drives one's outlook towards #fear. This hurts badly.

Returns are a function of how you manage fear. Managing fear badly in the name of low returns takes You nowhere.
Managing past returns and fear separately matters for your future. 5/5
