Black people, especially in moments that we’ve been harmed. This Black girl feels consistently unsafe with the White student in school, your “safety plan” does nothing to shift this as he consistently antagonizes her.
Restorative justice cannot be at the expense of the harmed individual! It must center the harmed person, which your approach does not do. The Black student has asked repeatedly for the removal of the student from the school, and while you may want to in this moment parade...
“progressive discipline”, we know if this were a Black student doing this to a White student punitive discipline would have easily and quickly been deployed.

@malloy_john And while you implement this plan you need to be more honest than you were in this letter. You did not tell TDSB employees about their “duty to report and address incidents of racism in a timely manner”. That’s a flat out lie, as per the below screenshot. 
We also have some key questions in response to your “response”: What is this initial investigation that you’re saying resulted in the May 3 letter? Who conducted it and when did it begin? Was it about the conduct of the White student or the conduct of school administration?
If it was school administration why were these staff not placed on leave immediately? Why did it take until May 13? What investigation is still ongoing? The one with the White student assaulting the Black student? If this is so how is this student still in school?
Why were we told that the expulsion limits are out of date if the investigation is still ongoing!? What’s happening to the guidance counsellor?
@malloy_john FINALLY, you can miss us with “ALL” rhetoric. In this moment this is about BLACK lives. This is about anti-BLACK racism. This was a BLACK girl who was assaulted and harassed for months, and continues to be left unprotected by your staff.
It was a BLACK family your administrators were quick to dismiss and demonize. Stop engaging in this multicultural discourse that quickly erases Black lives.
