This year the BQW had the privilege to “adopt” Mme Emily Greif’s 👩🏻‍🏫 5th grade French ⚜️ class at @SWSatgoding @dcpublicschools, through the @EmbassyAdoption Program.

The 15 students started their Capstone Presentation by singing pour tout le monde ce qui reste la plus belle chanson québécoise, « Gens du pays » #Québec’s national hymn, written by famed poet Gilles Vigneault. ⚜️

Ensuite un hommage, en français, au célèbre poète montréalais Léonard Cohen.

And then they paid tribute to #Montréal poet Leonard Cohen, with the French version of his famous song “Hallelujah”

Using their individual creativity, they designed a mosaic that portrays what they learned about #Québec.

Chaque étudiant a individuellement contribué à une mosaïque qui présente le meilleur de la Belle province: @CarnavalQc @hydroquebec @GouvQc @MRIF_Quebec @MCCQuebec ⚜️

Et pour bien terminer l’après-midi: une visite guidée de l’@AmbCanEUA.

And they ended the afternoon with a guided tour of the @CanEmbUSA.
