2 days ago Quds News Network has posted information about Aisha Lulu (al-Lulu) who died in West Bank hospital alone, because “Israeli siege” prevented her parents to go. While child death is terrible in any 1/

circumstances, the story immediately spreads out with specific and guided narrative - “Israel is an awful and terrible apartheid” and “While you are enjoying your Eurovision, brutal Zionists did this...” and etc. etc.

The details are added (directly taken from Quds News Network, obviously) that dying child was dying alone and crying. Terrible picture is spread further, Israel looks worse and worse here... 3/

It goes on. Now bigger organizations pick it up like Women For Palestine, The Gaza voice and blue ticks like Iyad el-Baghdadi and Dima Khatib with countless retweets from people like Nylah Burton, Talia Lavin and similar guys... more on Dima Khatib in the next tweet 4/

So Dima is a managing director of AJ+. She obviously takes this story for the face value and doesn’t even question a bit of it. Well, why should she, right? She works for AJ+ - a Qatari funded propaganda arm and Quds News Network is her ally. 5/

... and now to Mossi Raz - a member of Knesset from Meretz party. He is bought into the narrative and tweets it saying: “the face of the siege”. He puts the blame on Israel for not allowing parents to travel thought and for a child to die alone... The story is fully spread now.6/

And here what really happened as per sources close to the family. The child indeed traveled with non-relative woman to West Bank, but a month ago April 17. She went through a surgery and returned back to Gaza. She spent 2 weeks in Gaza before she passed away at home. 7/

While the story still has a sad ending... I wish this poor child is still alive, but I want to call out those who spread disinformation (including AJ+ & Knesset member) without checking the source. You are using this child for your own personal or political quest. Shame on you.8/

So now those who spread the narrative started to delete when caught lying. Shebade has deleted the tweet, Omar Ghraieb has changed his account to private. And the original source: Quds News Network has tweeted this which confirms that original was lie.9/9

So Mossi Raz is asked by Mairav Zonszein why no one reports it & he replies:
“As usual. However, I will amend a small detail: The girl was treated in East Jerusalem. None of her family members was allowed to join her. In final days she was allowed to return to Gaza & died there”.

So Cogat has clarified the situation and it turns out that the original narrative spread by Quds News Network is fully fake. Cogat had no issue to allow through, however the family refused to go to Jerusalem for their own reasons:
