A thread on antisemitism in Russia. I will post a picture in Russian of a recent 2016 poll by famous Levada-Center (@levada_ru) in Russia about antisemitism. It was anonymous, so people felt quite safe to answer. I will translate it 1 by 1. (pic source: @meduzaproject).

Question 1:

Should we monitor how many positions of power are occupied by Jews, and restrict their number?

Also, one more notable thing is different stereotypes with regard to Jews. Four most notable: Jews value money the most (57% agree), Jews refrain from physical labor (62% agree), Jews overstate sufferings (40% agree), and double loyalty of Jews (49% agree). Here is the full poll:

Anyway, since 2016 a lot has happened. There was a spike in Jew hateful rhetoric recently when governmental officials of Russia blamed downed plane in Syria on IDF. A lot of domestic anti-Semites raised their voices, including, sadly, some of Jewish origin
