Somehow in the chaos of the news over the past several weeks, I missed that Japan has a new emperor: Naruhito, who is the son of Akihito and grandson of Hirohito. This also means the Emperor of Japan is officially a Boomer.
Naruhito has one child--Aiko, Princess Toshi--and because Japan practices primogeniture, they were considering scrapping all this to allow Aiko to succeed the throne someday. That plan was shelved when her male cousin was born. Yay.
Yet again, a woman who has been doing this for much longer is passed over for promotion in favor of a less qualified male.
I'm only kidding. Kinda. Sorta.

I haven't seen Game of Thrones, which makes me really unique and cool, unlike the rest of you filthy sheep.
Interesting mix of replies to this that vary from amused to offended.
To be clear, since lovely replies of agreement continue to flow in, I watched all of the series and was very much invested. My original tweet is poking at you folks who hate everyone else talking about the show. Then again, after this finale, you probably had the last laugh. 😘

If you're a 2020 Democratic presidential candidate who has built out the issues/positions page on your website and don't specifically address transgender rights in some way, it's noticeable. It's glaring. And that is all I will say on that for now.
Shout-out to Kirsten Gillibrand, Pete Buttigieg, John Delaney, Bernie Sanders, Mike Gravel, Marianne Williamson, and Andrew Yang for at least expressing clear support for transgender rights in their issues page. Some candidates haven't built out an issues page yet.
But some have. One candidate who I will not mention built out an entire issues page and didn't even include LGBTQ rights as a whole, which is curious.

Over the past several weeks as I’ve been working through heartbreak & grief & anxiety...God has continued to place this scripture on my heart. I’ve struggled to understand why He keeps bringing me back to this point.
Yesterday I had lunch with my friend Laura...& she too has been continuously pointed back to scriptures about seeds & growth & planting & fruit lately. She’s even speaking at a retreat this weekend where that’s the theme! And I don’t believe in coincidence 🙏🏻✨🙏🏻

I'm sure they've now traced HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of dollars funneled through the Clinton Foundation & lobbying [actually bribery] firms like The Podesta Group.
And remember, we're talking about hundreds of millions of dollars from FOREIGN GOVERNMENTS & INDIVIDUALS that were 'donated' in play for play schemes. Russia, Saudi Arabia and a whole bunch of other countries.
Where'd all those HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of dollars go? What were they spent on? What activity did it fund?

We know the Clintons got a minimum of $145 million alone 'donated' to their foundation just for the #UraniumOne deal all by itself.
