Let us speak, briefly, of a topic that has become more popular than it's been since I was in high school. Let us speak of D&D.
I'm in my first non-convention campaign for over a decade right now, using the campaign setting and modules designed by @rpgtoons. @ockapus is our GM.
Our party consists of @jenniferbrozek (goth elf rogue; basically Darkness Dementia Raven Way with knives); @alisa_r_garcia (halfling cleric of an out-of-fashion goddess); @ltgtuto (dwarf druid); @EditrixW (human fighter); and me (tiefling sorcerer).
We're all adults with lives and jobs and book tours and roller derby and children (only "lives" applies to everyone), so we're managing to play, on average, once a month, and "NO, that's when we play D&D" is the most hotly defended slot on our calendars.
The campaign @ockapus is running, The Forgotten God, is made up of modules from the @rpgtoons Patreon, which is here: patreon.com/rpgtoons
The whole thing is of incredibly high quality. The adventures are fun and challenging without being frustrating, and the PAPERCRAFT! Holy crap. @ockapus whipped out a whole damn BUILDING for our latest game.
The only downside is that it's so good we sometimes get derailed for five minutes to exclaim over the awesome paper boats and buildings.
If you're looking for a way to elevate your D&D experience, or you're just thinking about starting a game and want some fun props for your table, please consider backing their Patreon, because I can't. (It would basically be cheating.)
Also, inevitably, one of the big D&D streams is going to find them, and they're going to get too swamped for us little guys. Get in now, and beat the rush (and get me color modules!): patreon.com/rpgtoons
