Lot of people have been asking what we did to loose those fat. We have still some miles to go but here’s some pointers. Disclaimer - we r not professionally trained. Just by experience.
1. Keep it simple- reduce calories, get sufficient protein, increase your vegetable and water intake, and get extra sleep.
2. For your workouts, stick to strength training. Long term Fat loss is only possible by building muscles. Twice a week do fasted cardio. 30-60 mins walk/jog. All depends on your present state of endurance. Very difficult to generalise.
Training has to be full circle, including structured strength lifts, interval training, and recovery with mindful practice and stretching/yoga. My longer cardio session is running. Slow and steady with some intensity and interval changes.
Also, try to cut back (or stop altogether) on processed sugar, drink more water, and cut sodium to 500 milligrams per week. To round it out, really make sure you hit that sleep goal of seven to eight hours every day.
Focus on nutrition- take lots of lean protein, healthy fats, consume plenty of fibrous veggies, like sweet potatoes, asparagus, and Broccoli,sprouts etc.
Keep your meal portions small- aim for a bigger breakfast, have a medium-size lunch, end the day with a small dinner. Consume a lot of water and avoid white starches, like bread, pasta, rice, and potatoes.
Measure every thing - weight, fat, food, workouts. What’s gets measured gets analysed and improved. If you don’t write down what you eat in a day—especially when you’re trying to get cut—then that’s your first mistake.
