Did you ever notice that there was a tendency among long-time DC insider journalists to write puff pieces or to buy into the narratives of the long-time DC insider pols they've been hanging out with for...a long-time? This is how elites stay elites without actually being elite.
Now, I know many of you are saying that is news from nowhere and of course, you know that. Well, then, I feel compelled to ask...why do you keep buying into this torrent of self-serving, uncritical bullshit?
BTW, while this is a problem w/mainstream political stories (which is how the same mediocrities we know and should have deep contempt for remain in power for so long) it is even worse in specialized areas where there are fewer journalists and experts and less informed scrutiny.
