Tell me one Dem candidate for president (other than Tulsi) who has advocated a view on a major issue that could be fairly characterized as extreme. Not talking about reasonable policy differences but “extreme” compared to where majority of Americans stand.
The reason the answers have not poured in is that there are no major Dem candidates for president whose views can fairly be characterized as extreme when compared to where the majority of the American people are. That doesn't stop the GOP/some Dems from trying to make the case.
But it is a myth. There are candidates whose positions are more nuanced. Candidates who embrace different approaches. But all support core Dem ideas of equity, opportunity, inclusion, an end to corruption, serving all the people, protecting the environment.
