Reminder: Your past does NOT control you.

When we spend our time thinking about the past we take away from thinking about what’s next.

The tradeoff isn’t worth it. Don’t waste time on things you can’t change or control.

Take your lessons from the past and move on by figuring out what’s next.

Your past doesn’t define you.
Your mistakes don’t define you.

You get to decide who you are based on what you think about and do.

You get to learn how to improve yourself daily if you make the choice to focus on what’s next instead of keeping your mind stuck in the past.

The ghosts of our pasts only haunt us because we let them.

They don’t exist anymore. We aren’t there anymore. We can’t go back in time.

We aren’t the same anymore either.

We don’t need to keep ourselves stuck in a non-existent space.

Make new space so you can breathe fully.

The past can be used to make the future much better.

First, put emotions aside.

Next, learn from the past so you can create a better version of yourself:

1. Take stock of what happened
2. Write the story down
3. Find the lessons
4. Decide what to Change
5. Make it rain Change.
