#QAnon in a nutshell right here.
"We're so busy digging into things that we want to find out for ourselves if they're true, not many of us spend much time proving things false"
I can’t stop thinking about what a perfect summation this is of the Q movement’s problem when it comes to determining what to believe. They’re so driven towards searching through mountains of information for connections they have no time to test their assumptions.
The nature of Q’s posts encourages this of course. Every selectively bolded word or unexplained abbreviation is more information for them to work to decrypt, which prevents ever really going back and examining their previous assumptions.
This is why it’s rare to see them even ask about why something that was foretold didn’t come to pass. There’s no *time*, not when the fate of the world hangs in the balance and Q needs them.
Shortly after the State of the Union address, Q posted something that led them to believe Democratic politicians had been texting each other during he ceremony, planning Trump’s assassination, and that one of the photographers had inadvertently captured proof of this.
Q-world went *hard*, digging up every source of pictures from the event they could, poring over all the different broadcasts, trying to see whose phone might have been visible from where. They were convinced they *needed* to find this proof, that it would expose The Cabal.
A few days later, I saw a guy come into a Q chat as they were busy talking about their latest theory on deep state child sacrifice and say “hey guys I’ve been busy for a couple of days, whatever happened with the DNC assassination attempt?”
“Oh... yeah that turned out to be nothing...”
And they just moved on, swept along in this never ending quest for hidden knowledge that will *finally* bring them this victory that’s always just out of reach.
