Limiting the power of off-the-rails judges should be one of the top agenda items for anyone who cares about sovereignty and representative government. Their political leanings shouldn't matter so much. We were not meant to be ruled by the judiciary.
Across the Western world, people are realizing that corruption and authoritarianism increase the further power is removed from the reach of voters. It is a terrible mistake to put too much power in the hands of people who can't be voted out of office.
The elite, of course, understand this perfectly and have worked for decades to shift powers into the bowels of the unelected bureaucracy. The elite vision of a globalist, borderless world would dilute the power of voters into a minor annoyance at best.
The borderless world is, in truth, a prison. The people have no way to vote corrupt transnational rulers out of office. Shifting power into the hands of a central government means only the most powerful, well-funded, organized groups have any real influence.
In a borderless world of centralized power, there is no way to escape the commands of the elite. You can't just move away from bad policies. You cannot vote with your feet, and once that all-powerful vote is gone, ballots become much less of a threat to the anointed ones.
What we are seeing now across the West is a demonstration of how the elites have reserved the "Power of No" entirely to themselves. Moving to a different city or state to escape bad laws is one version of the Power of No - the power to REFUSE.
Look at everything from judicial sabotage in America to the Brexit saga and European resistance to insane migration policies, and you can see that only the elite have the power to say "no." They can say "no" to virtually anything voters demand, no matter how huge the margin.
Until the Power of No is taken away from the elites and returned to the people, you will never have true sovereignty or meaningful political freedom. Everything you demand will be refused and sabotaged. Every vote you win will be re-run until the elite gets the outcome it wants.
Every court decision in your favor will be challenged and relitigated until the elite win, at which point the ruling will become "settled" law, a precedent that can never be challenged. Every spending cut will be ripped out of vital services instead of bureaucratic fat.
Until the people become the ones who can say "no" instead of deep state cliques, politicized judges, and powerful special interests, you will be not true citizens, but subjects. You WILL be ruled. The only question is how long it takes for the rulers to get what they want. /end
